All the rendezvous from 1825 to 1840 were held in the land of the Shoshone Indians in what was then Oregon and Mexico. Today these are the States of Wyoming, Utah, and Idaho. Grand Teton and the Teton Mountains are near present day Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
