Steve Sells is a retired music educator. He received his master’s degree in education from the University of North Texas. Steve began shooting and hunting with traditional style muzzle loaders during the early 1980’s. He is a regular participant in reenactments of the rendezvous period of the Rocky Mountain fur trade. Steve has served as Booshway for rendezvous, historical shooting events, as well as teaching rendezvous related seminars. He has taught muzzle loading and shooting to countless students through the youth programs of the Boy Scouts of America, the Dallas Safari Club, and the San Juan Wildlife Federation. Steve is a member of the Dallas Muzzle Loading Gun Club, the Texas Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, The New Mexico Mountain Men, and the San Juan Wildlife Federation. Steve currently lives in Aztec, New Mexico.
