March 11, 2022. Steve enjoyed a pheasant shoot at the Tinnin Hunt Club in New Mexico. 90 grains of 2-f Goex with an ounce and a quarter of #6 shot patterns well out of the Navy Arms 12 gauge percussion shotgun.
Our friend Tim enjoyed a successful Texas hunt using his custom Lancaster flintlock in 50 caliber.

March 30, 2019 Pheasant and chukar partridge hunt in New Mexico.
I used my Navy Arms 12 gauge percussion shotgun. It is choked IC & Mod. The load was 90 grains of Goex ff-g and 1 1/4 ounce of #6 shot. It patterns best with an over powder card, half of a lubed wad, and overshot card under the shot with another overshot card on top of all that. For shooting clays and smaller birds I load the same wad combination but drop the powder charge to 80 grains and the shot to 1 1/8 ounces.

Our friend Rob sent this photo of a brace of Canada geese he shot near Moses Lake, Washington. Rob used his Navy Arms percussion shotgun and loads of 1-3/8 oz shot in a red pacific wad over 100 grains of GO powder (predecessor of GOEX). His dog Fred approves.
Steve killed this West Texas Rio gobbler with a flintlock 20 gauge Chief's Trade gun loaded with 80 grains of FF Goex and 1 1/4 ounce # 6 shot.
Steve gets venison with a Lyman Great Plains Rifle. The 50 caliber round ball over 60 grains of 2-f Goex left a large exit and a good blood trail.
Our friend Rob was at it again this morning. It must be nice to have a corn field across the road from your house!
Let ole Fred out for his morning walk and bag a few geese. Good work Fred!
